Noah's short life truly was a awesome testimony to the Glory of God and the power of His Holy Spirit. Shortly before his death he asked to be baptized.
We held the ceremony in our backyard and many of his classmates came to witness the event. After the baptism, Noah gathered all his friends into his room. He sat on his bed with all the children sitting on the floor around him. He thanked them for their prayers - but wanted them to know that God might not heal him. He said that was OK because, as he explained to them, his body was a tent - and that when it was no longer needed his spirit would go to be with the Lord.
Noah later told me that he explain this to his friends - so that their faith would not be weakened.
